David Cook is a native of Houston, Texas that rose to fame when he became the winner of season 7 of American Idol. In his short career David Cook has already broken several Billboard chart records, which most notably was his record smashing eleven song debut on the Hot 100. David Cook collaborated with some of his greatest influences including Ed Roland from Collective Soul and Jason Wade of Lifehouse in putting together his most recent hit album.
