REO Speedwagon Will Make Stop at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena
10-08-09 REO Speedwagon just keeps pushin' on! Your favorite legends from the midwest are back in town, performing at Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington on 11-05 . This concert will be one of a kind entertainment, as REO Speedwagon has been performing for over 30 years, but they haven't lost an ounce of energy! Wailing guitar riffs from Dave Amato create an awe inspiring performance, all while lead singer Kevin Cronan belts out the notes sounding as strong and clear as if they were performing 30 years ago. The only difference seems to be Cronan’s cleaner cut hairstyle…but don’t let that fool you, Cronan still rocks out as hard as ever clad in his signiture leather pants, riling up a diverse crowd spanning several generations of die-hard REO Speedwagon fans.
The band has also been very dedicated in recent years to playing their classic hits while also performing a few singles off their newer albums. REO Speedwagon definitely does not leave any crowd wanting for their favorite tunes, as they cover virtually all the popular songs from You Get What You Play For, You Can Tune a Piano, but You Can’t Tune a Fish, Ridin’ The Storm Out, and their older, self-titled albums. The hugely popular but rarely performed “Golden Country” is also a must hear on this tour, as REO Speedwagon ends their show with this song in a feeling of furious and electric hope.
